Stephen Tyrone Colbert is an American actor, comedian, producer, singer, writer, political commentator, and television host. He’s best known for hosting The Colbert Report on Comedy Central from 2005–2014, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS since 2015. Colbert is deaf in his right ear due to childhood surgery to remove a tumor. He’s active in his community and passionate about the arts, and helped launch the Montclair Film Festival with his wife.
